Google Calendar — Add attendee

Type: googlecalendar-add-attendee  ·  Package: Google Calendar v1.0.5  ·  Output: Dictionary<string,object>

Adds one or more guests to an existing event without removing the ones it already had. It is the safe way to add attendees without rewriting the whole list.

Reads the event, adds the emails in attendees to its list and saves the change:

  • Existing guests keep their response.
  • An email already on the list (case-insensitive) is skipped, so repeating the activity does not duplicate guests.
  • attendees accepts a text with emails separated by , or ;, or a list of emails.
  • With notify = true (default) Google sends the event emails to the guests; new ones get the invitation.
  • The account must be able to edit the event (usually, be its organizer).
