Notifications
Zoan Cloud tells you what needs your attention, so you don’t have to keep checking every screen. Notifications arrive at the bell in the portal’s top bar and, if you turn them on, also as push notifications in your browser or on your phone, even when the portal is closed.
You only get notifications about what you can see: your tasks or your roles’ tasks, conversations of the assistants you attend, executions of the processes and folders you have access to, and the cases of the flows in your environments.
Which notifications there are
Section titled “Which notifications there are”| Notification | When it arrives |
|---|---|
| New tasks | A task reaches you or one of your roles, or it is reassigned to you. |
| Tasks due soon | One of your tasks is still pending and its deadline is getting close. |
| Conversations to attend | An assistant hands a conversation over to a person on the team. |
| Failed executions | An execution of a process you can see fails. At most one notification per process every 30 minutes, so a process that keeps failing doesn’t flood you. |
| Flow incidents | A flow case goes into incident. At most one notification per flow every 30 minutes. |
| Progress of your requests | A request you started reaches a new stage or gets a decision that notifies you. See My requests. |
| Finished requests | A request you started finishes, with its result. |
| Access from Microsoft Entra ID | The Microsoft Entra ID sync suspends someone or there are suspensions to confirm. Only for whoever manages groups. |
The bell
Section titled “The bell”The number on the bell tells you how many unread notifications you have. Open it to see the latest ones:
- Tap a notification to go straight to what it points to (the task, the conversation, the execution or the case). It is marked as read.
- Marcar todas como leídas (Mark all as read) sets the counter to zero.
- New notifications show up on their own, without reloading the page.
The bell keeps the notifications of the last 90 days.
Turn on browser notifications
Section titled “Turn on browser notifications”- When you sign in, the portal offers to Activar (Turn on) notifications in a strip above the content. You can also do it at any time in Mi cuenta › Notificaciones (My account › Notifications) with Activar notificaciones en este navegador.
- The browser asks whether you allow notifications from Zoan Cloud. Accept.
- Done: from then on this browser receives your notifications, even with the portal closed.
If you choose Ahora no (Not now), the portal won’t offer it again in that browser for a week. Each browser and each device is turned on separately.
When you sign out, that browser stops receiving your notifications; it turns back on by itself when you sign in again.
On iPhone or iPad
Section titled “On iPhone or iPad”On iPhone and iPad, notifications arrive when the portal is installed on the Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later):
- Open your organization’s portal in Safari.
- Tap Share and then Add to Home Screen.
- Open Zoan Cloud from the new Home Screen icon and sign in.
- Tap Activar (or go to Mi cuenta › Notificaciones) and allow notifications.
On Android and on computers it works directly in the browser; you can also install the portal to keep it one tap away.
Choose what to receive and how
Section titled “Choose what to receive and how”In Mi cuenta › Notificaciones you see each kind of notification with its channels:
- Bandeja (Bell): always on; it is your notification history.
- Push: turn it on or off per kind of notification. It reaches every browser and phone where you turned it on.
- Correo (Email): for the notifications that are also sent by email (all except Flow incidents). It starts on, except for Progress of your requests, which only reaches the bell and push until you turn email on. If you turn it off, you stop getting that email; the bell and push stay the same.
Every change is saved right away and only affects you. Only the notifications you can receive with your permissions are listed.
