Tenant settings

The Settings menu groups personal configuration (your profile and password) and organization configuration (name and security). What you can edit depends on your permissions.

My profile

Available to all users:

• First name and Last name: reflected immediately in the portal, with no need to sign in again.
• Roles: read-only — shows the roles assigned to you.

Change password

Available to all users. It asks for the current password, the new one and its confirmation. The new one must be at least 8 characters.

Organization

• Name: your organization’s display name. Editing it requires the tenant:update permission (typically the tenant owner or admin).
• Slug: unique identifier in the URL (your-slug.nexus...). It is read-only.
• Status: tenant status (active, suspended).

Security — Idle session logout

Owner/admin only

This section requires the tenant:update permission and applies to all users in the organization.

It sets how many minutes of inactivity may pass before the session closes automatically and the user is returned to the sign-in screen. It protects against forgotten sessions on shared machines.

The change applies immediately to your current session and to the others on their next reload. Inactivity is measured by absence of interaction (keyboard, mouse, navigation); any activity resets the counter.

Shared machines

In environments where several operators share a workstation, lower the time (e.g. 5–10 min) so a forgotten session closes quickly. On individually used machines you can raise it.
